I have a lovely wallet with everything in its place. But when I travel light, all that organization seems to fall apart. My currency is stuffed in one pocket, credit cards in another. It’s just not elegant.
That’s why CardNinja caught my eye. It’s a stretchy sleeve that sticks on the back of your phone or your phone case and can hold enough credit cards, money and IDs to eliminate any worry about leaving a purse or wallet back home. It’s good for a trip to the gym or grocery store or real travel when you don’t want to be weighed down.
After my (thankfully) successful minor back surgery a couple of years ago, I learned to give up some of the things I used to drag around all the time. I still can’t do without a decent pocket camera (yes, I like my phone camera but it’s just not the same). A back pack…nah, still too tempting to fill it up. I’m looking forward to more near field communications in our everyday life – our Lucky’s grocery chain has installed new NFC-capable POS terminals, another indication of our mobile phone-centric world.
It may seem a bit much at $19.95 but I can’t figure out a better way to put everything in one place. So I give this low-tech but very useful mobile phone accessory a thumbs up. Makes a nice gift too. www.cardninja.com
